We provide a range of beautifully brewed coffee that appeals to every taste, from a bold and rich latte to a crisp and clean filter coffee.
In collaboration with Chefs Fernando Sindu and Charins Chang, Benedict is a chef driven, gourmet food concept founded in 2015 by The Union Group. Benedict’s menu is a balance of comfort and innovation, celebrating food that suits the expectations of both novice and extreme foodies alike.
With classic comfort fare with a twist, our goal is to share our love of all-day breakfast dishes and coffee with everyone. Breakfast and coffee are no longer just for the day, but we make it delectable all day, everyday.
We aim in making good coffee accessible for those who love it. Hence, we take pride in our coffee and decided to create our own signature Benedict Blend. Our blend is considered as a medium body with a note of sweet caramel, berry, and orange. It has a long after taste with a slight of pepper aroma to it. That is why we are inspired to create Black Pepper Latte as one of our new menu.
We are also take satisfaction in supporting local farmers and therefore our blend is 100% Indonesian. Few of our new signature coffees, such as Coconut Cold Drip and Coconut Coffee Latte are created to make people reminisce on Indonesian taste in every sip of their coffee.
Fernando Sindu and his new comrade, Head Pastry Chef Charins Chang, started their careers on the opposite ends of the spectrum but share the same strong passion for cooking. Chef Fernando studied at the Culinary Institute of America, before landing a Sous Chef position at the Boqueria Restaurant in New York City. Chef Charins worked in biochemistry before deciding to pursue her dream - she then did a summer at a French pastry school and returned to Jakarta, selling her creations online to a distinguished crowd.
